Sleeping Lizards!

Maggie and I were watching Ellen the other day and saw an 11 year-old girl who could hypnotize lizards. She thought that it was so neat and asked if we could try it! Of course, I had to do the lizard catching, the lizard hypnotizing, and the lizard wardrobe changes but she takes full credit for the process.

Here's how it works...if you can catch the lizard without pulling it's tail off and you can get it's belly exposed, you rub it slowly and gently about a dozen times, it becomes very still. We chose to dress the poor thing up like Sleeping Beauty and take it's picture. How humiliating for the lizard but Maggie was cracking up the entire time.


We did finally let the lizard go and it ran off into the grass...with a great story to tell his little lizard friends!
