Time Change
I honestly thought that by Wednesday, I would be used to this time change. After all, it happens every year, I knew to expect it and I've had the time to adjust.
Why is my entire family still operating on Daylight Savings Time?
Up at, what is now, 5:45 am
Hungry for lunch at, what is now, 10:30 am
Ready to nap an hour earlier
Ready for bed at 8:30!!!
Is anyone else having this issue?

YES!!!!!!! I was just thinking this morning, "I should blog about "falling back". I hate it! I told Steve, "the kids need to be in bed at 7 which is REALLY 8 real time." Nash is up at 5:30 and hungry for lunch at 10:00....so confusing. Why do we have to "fall back" anyway???? I like the daylight. :)
Yeah, we are messed up over here too. And, to top it off, the boys are psycho crazy this week, I'm attributing that craziness to the time change too...just blame everything on that!
I do hate it being darker earlier, it's so depressing and makes that "bewitching hour" before Neal gets home in the evenings seem even longer.
I don't get it...
this must mean that we are getting older, because I sure don't remember it affecting me when I was younger! ;)
Gee, I guess I'm in the minority, but I love it. I love that I don't have to convince the kids that it's bedtime - it's clearly dark outside. It's so much harder in the summer at 9:30 p.m. when the sun is just setting to convince them that they should have been in bed hours ago.
The early evenings also mean that I can go to bed too without feeling like such a loser. I guess it just makes me cozy.
ok, so i was just talking to robin about this... how this time change thing has been hard on the kids. she said, "carly just blogged about that." i agree, it has been difficult. i used to LOVE the fall back time change, but when the kids come into the room to wake us at 6am, it is not that cool anymore.
that was me, kim! was wasn't trying to be super secret, but i have a very whiney curly-topped 2 year old on my lap right now 'playing' with my hair (pulling it down in front of my eyes)!
:) kim
