Weekend Getaway
This weekend, we went with some of our small group friends to their family farm for a little "no kids", time to do nothing, play games retreat.
It was so much fun to be out in beautiful nature and enjoy being lazy and not having to chase tots around. The guys like to go hunting and for the most part, the girls just stayed at the house and chatted and cooked. We did, however, let the boys take us out one afternoon for 4-wheeling, deer corn feeder fillin', tree stand climbing fun! I think the boys were proud to have their wives out with them driving the 4 wheelers, wearing a little cammo and even peeing in the woods. (Hey, a pregnant girl's gotta do what a pregnant girl's gotta do!)
