Warning: Not for the faint of heart...
This morning I had a mishap while water skiing. My finger got in the way of the rope and the rope won! I've never in my life broken a bone but had no doubt that that was what had happened here. My index finger was pointing at my middle finger...a very freaky sensation. After a fabulous trip to the ER where Casey listed my injury on the sign in sheet as "VERY broken finger", I got an x-ray that confirmed it was broken in 2 places. There were no orthopedic hand specialists on-call on a Sunday so I have to deal with the pain until Monday morning....OUCH! So much for this mother-of-three and water skiing.
Please pray for me as I will probably have to have a pin put in it and spend the next 2 months in a splint.
I've posted a picture below but I'm warning you---it's gross.

oh carly, so sorry about your finger!..... poor darlin!... we will be waiting for a picture of your cool cast.... maybe you can choose the color and that will make it sorta fun, right??.....you're not laughing....love you and will be waiting for an update and praying for a great doctor visit tomorrow!
Holy Crapola Carly!! I can't believe your finger. How can they make you wait until Monday?? That is horrible! Absurd! Terrible! (You get my point). I will be keeping you in my prayers hoping it's not too painful.
That's disgusting! Yet I laughed at the picture because it's so funny looking. I'm so sorry you broke it. No fun!!
Okay, you could seriously be in a Thriller Movie right now!! How terrible that it happened but even more terrible that you are a nursing momma! Carly!! It's going to be really hard changing those diapers for awhile now! But baby, just play it for all it's worth!!! You know how it is with that 3rd baby - not near the compassion as with that 1st baby! So let everyone KNOW how HARD it is to do everything!!! hee!hee! Looks really gross by the way!

Poor thing! I'm so glad you got those wedding rings off in time! I will be praying for you...may be time for Maggie to learn how to change a few diapers! YIKES! But what a story to tell and your boys will be so impressed!
